We Were Never Meant to Mother Alone
Founded by Mothers for Mothers
Created by two mothers—Angela Amoia, a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, and Sarah Persitz, a somatic practitioner and spiritual midwife—Motherswell is a monthly circle for connection, reflection, and collective nourishment.
Each gathering invites us to slow down, ground, and come together in the realness of motherhood. Here, you’ll find a space to be seen, to be heard, and to be held.
We move with the seasons and the energies of the year, exploring themes of matrescence such as identity and selfhood, relationships and partnership, power and voice, longing and loneliness, love and loss, body and belonging. Through conversation, ritual, and embodied practice, we weave a community where what feels heavy can be shared, what feels hidden can be named, and what feels sacred can be honored.
Monthly Gatherings
Rooting & Release
As the leaves fall, we gather to ground ourselves and let go of what no longer serves. Together we’ll reflect on what this season of motherhood is asking us to release, and root more deeply into connection, presence, and support.
Nourishment & Gratitude
In the season of harvest and gathering, we’ll turn toward what sustains us. Through reflection and shared practice, we’ll explore how to nourish ourselves as mothers and cultivate gratitude amidst the fullness of life.
Light in the Dark
As winter nears and the days grow short, we’ll come together to kindle light within and around us. This circle will invite reflection, ritual, and intention—holding hope and vision as we step into the heart of winter.
