Who is Motherswell intended for?

Motherswell is for all mothers on the journey of motherhood — whatever stage you are in. Whether you’re navigating the early years, raising teenagers, or reflecting back from further along the path, you are welcome here. Every stage of motherhood has wisdom to share.

Is this therapy?

No. Motherswell is not therapy. It’s a circle for connection, reflection, and witnessing. While there may be opportunities for support and insight, our intention is not to fix or analyze one another, but to honor each person’s truth and create space for what is real.

What if I’m feeling vulnerable or going through something hard?

You are welcome here exactly as you are. We believe in the power of being witnessed. You’re never required to share more than feels right for you, and everything spoken in circle stays in circle.

Do I need prior experience with circles or practices like meditation or breathwork?

Not at all. Everything is guided with care. Come as you are — with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to simply be present.

Can I drop in, or do I need to commit long-term?

For now, we’re offering the first three circles as open gatherings. After that, we’ll pause to reflect together and decide whether to continue as drop-in circles or transition into a longer-term closed group. Either way, you’re welcome to come try it out in these first months and see if it feels right for you.

What if cost is a barrier?

We offer a sliding scale so that all mothers can access Motherswell, regardless of financial circumstances. You’ll see four suggested levels when registering:

• Community Support — $22: For those needing support to access the gathering.

• Suggested Exchange — $33: The baseline rate that sustains the offering.

• Honoring the Work — $44: A way to acknowledge the energy, care, and facilitation behind Motherswell.

• Pay It Forward — $55: Contributes toward accessibility and supports another mother’s participation.

Choose the level that feels right for you. No explanation is ever needed — your presence in the circle is what matters most. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.
