We Were Never Meant to Mother Alone
Founded by Mothers for Mothers
Created by two mothers—Sarah Persitz, a Somatic practitioner and spiritual midwife and Ashlie Yair, Full Spectrum Doula, and Parenting Coach —Motherswell is a monthly circle for connection, reflection, and collective nourishment.
Each gathering invites us to slow down, ground, and come together in the realness of motherhood. Here, you’ll find a space to be seen, to be heard, and to be held.
We move with the seasons and the energies of the year, exploring themes of matrescence such as identity and selfhood, relationships and partnership, power and voice, longing and loneliness, love and loss, body and belonging. Through conversation, ritual, and embodied practice, we weave a community where what feels heavy can be shared, what feels hidden can be named, and what feels sacred can be honored.
Monthly Gatherings
Returning to Ourselves
January offers a natural pause; a moment to exhale after the fullness of the holidays and gently turn inward. In this circle, we explore what it means to return to ourselves in the midst of mothering. Through grounding practices, honest reflection, and supportive sharing, we’ll name what we’re carrying into the new year and what we’re ready to release. Together, we’ll reconnect to our own inner rhythm and remember that tending ourselves is part of tending our families.
We’ll gather January 11th, 4-6 pm, in Kingston. Confirmation details will be shared following registration.
Rekindling our Inner Fire
February often feels like the deep heart of winter; a time when we’re craving warmth, connection, and a reminder of our own vitality. This month’s circle invites us to explore courage in motherhood - courage to speak truth, to ask for support, to rediscover the creative sparks that make us feel alive beyond our roles. Through gentle movement, expressive practices, and community witnessing, we’ll expand into what wants to be felt and expressed.
We’ll gather February 8th, 4-6 pm in Kingston. Confirmation details will be shared following registration.
Making Space for Renewal
March carries the first hints of spring; a subtle quickening, a readiness to shed heaviness and make room for new growth. In this circle, we explore the balance between structure and surrender in motherhood: the routines that support us, the expectations that weigh us down, and the clarity that emerges when we create space inside ourselves. Together, we’ll re-ground, reflect, and prepare for the season of renewal ahead.
We’ll gather March 8th, 4-6 pm in Kingston. Confirmation details will be shared following registration.
